Employment Support Program (ESP)

The Employer Support Program supports Airmen and Soldiers in finding meaningful work and job opportunities as they face the challenges of the military lifestyle.  Employment support during mobilization, steady state, state active duty, and training periods are vital to the operational readiness of the Wisconsin National Guard.

ESP services within the state of Wisconsin are performed by a Program Support Specialist (PSS).  The PSS strengthens the Wisconsin National Guard ESP program by building partnerships with government agencies, private partnerships, and a synergetic relationship with the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) program.  The PSS often serves as The Adjutant General (TAG) representative on employment issues around the state.  The mission of ESP is to provide employment opportunities and options to develop career-ready service members, prepared/resilient family members, and successful transitioned members integrated within their community.
