The Wisconsin National Guard Child and Youth Volunteer Program is a unique way for passionate youth-focused people to give back to the military community. There are many exciting ways that you can help empower and foster positive youth development in a military kid. If this sparks your interest, please continue reading to find out where you can help.


  • Program Specialist – is responsible for leading, and implementing core and non-core programs and experiences for children in various settings with support from the CYP Team. They will also be responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of the participants.
  • Marketing/Social Media Guru – assists the CYP Team in promoting resources, programs, and events through modern social media platforms, and marketing material such as flyers.
  • Curriculum Content Creator – uses their expertise in youth development to assist the CYP Team in providing evidence-based teaching methods to enhance the programs intent.
  • Logistical Support – uses their skills to analyze, and organize various functions of the state Child and Youth Program.
