American Corporate Partners (ACP) is a nationwide program that provides mentorship opportunities for transitioning veterans and Guard and Reserve personnel. ACP is designed to help veterans and military participants – free of charge – form valuable relationships, develop key skills, network, and create a career plan. Some of America’s finest corporations are supporting ACP’s efforts, including General Electric, IBM, News Corporation, PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble. The program has experienced great success and is currently in its second phase. The program has now expanded to include Veterans and Guard personnel who live near the following 15 cities: Atlanta | Dallas | New York | San AntonioBoston | Denver | Oklahoma City | San Francisco | Chicago | Houston | Philadelphia | Washington, DC | Cincinnati | Los Angeles | Raleigh/Durham While not a “jobs program”, ACP aims to strengthen the relationship between employees of America’s leading corporations and universities and those who have served our country, often at great sacrifice. This program is open to Veterans and Service Members of all grades. Candidates will be matched one-by-one with a mentor who is a leader from a major corporation or university. Over the course of 12 months selected personnel will meet with a mentor who will provide the opportunity to leverage their military skills and experiences in civilian career development. ACP is a competitive program and those who are interested in applying are encouraged to do so at their earliest convenience.
